While I’m working on another in depth stablecoin research piece, here are my links of the week:

• This breakdown of the first day of operation Desert Storm. Say what you will about the American military, they are awe inspiringly good at operational logistics [footnote]you know, the thing Russia miserably failed at[/footnote]. Desert Storm shows the “modern system” military at work, as described in Bret Deveraux’s blog.

• Terry’s Free Game of the Week is a weekly blog showing good freeware games. It throws me back to the good old flash game days. It’s run by Terry Cavanagh developer of Super Hexagon and VVVVVV.

• Ten Minutes in Lituya Bay. Damn Interesting is a great website for long form content, this one a breakdown of a “megatsunami” event.
