Weekly links 2022-03-31: Podcast Episodes Edition
This week, I’ll be linking individually great podcast episodes.
-
The Case of the Missing Hit by Reply All may be one of the greatest podcast episodes ever made. The author goes on a wild chase looking for a song they remember but can’t find.
-
Feels good to be King by Mike Rowe. Did you know that Mike Rowe of “Dirty Jobs” fame hosts a podcast? Of course you do, everyone hosts a podcast in 2022. In any case, Rowe’s show is about telling short stories with a twist – the protagonist is revealed at the end. His podcast is overall very good, this episode particularly so.
-
Casefiles - Jennifer Pan details a murder that keeps getting more insane as details come up. Casefiles is a true crime show, this episode (and the series on the Golden State Killer) is one of their strongest episodes.
-
Heavyweight’s two-part series on Barbara Shutt. Jonathan Goldstein can carry Heavyweight purely on his charisma, but this episode is backed up by yet another increasingly insane story.
